Goa Public Service Commission invites applications for recruitment of Associate Professor,Assistant Professor,Assistant Lecturer,Senior Ophthalmic Surgeon and Lecturer in following disciplines.The last date for receipt of applications in the office of the Commission is 03.04.2014.

Age Limit : Not exceeding 45 years
Qualifications
Essential: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post Graduate Degree qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent. (iii) At least 3 years’ experience in the concerned speciality as Assistant Professor in a Medical College/Teaching Institution after the requisite Post-Graduate Degree qualification. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
2.Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery - 01 Post
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-
Age Limit : Not exceeding 45 years
Qualifications
Essential: (i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). (ii) Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-speciality or equivalent. (iii) At least one year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution in the subject of super-speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.). (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

4.Senior Ophthalmic Surgeon - 01 Post
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-
Age Limit : Not exceeding 42 years
Qualifications
Essential: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post Graduate Degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in speciality concerned. (iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
5.Lecturer in Architectural Assistantship - 01 Post
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Rs. 5,400/-
Age Limit : Not exceeding 42 years.
Qualifications
Essential: (i) First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Application Fee : Application Fee is Rs.400/- for General Category Candidates and those for SC, ST, OBC, Physically Handicapped and Ex-serviceman it is Rs.200/-. The application form should be accompanied by an Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft for the amount equivalent to the application fee payable to “The Secretary, GOA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION” payable at Panjim.
