Goa Police Department invites applications in prescribed forms from eligible candidates for filling up of 554 (Five hundred fifty four) vacant posts of Police Constable in Goa Police Department by direct recruitment.
Post Details : Police Constable - 554 Posts
Pay Band : Rs. 5200-20200 and Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- plus other usual allowance as admissible from time-to-time.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 22 years as on 31.01.2014.Age limit is relaxable for Government servants upto 5 years,relaxable upto a period of 5 years to Home Guards who have put in a minimum of 3 years of service and relaxable for Ex-Serviceman in accordance with the orders or instructions issued by the Government from time-to-time.
Eligibility and Qualification :
- Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum height of 168 cms.
- Chest:- Unexpanded - 80 cms and expanded - 85 cms.
- Should pass Written Examination and Oral Interview conducted by the Police Department.
- Knowledge of Konkani.
How to Apply : The prescribed Application Forms are available at Goa Police Welfare Cell, GRP Administrative Block, GRP Camp, Altinho, Panaji, which can be collected between 09.30 hrs. to 17.30 hrs. on all working days on payment of Rs. 20/- per Form.The Application Forms completed in all respects should reach the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Police Headquarters, Panaji on or before 31.01.2014.
