Central Council For Research in Siddha,Chennai (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India) invites applications for the post of Research Officer (Siddha),Research Officer (Siddha Pharmacy),Research Officer (Pharmacognosy) and Lab Attendant to be filled by Direct Recruitment.
1.Research Officer (Siddha)
Total Posts : 20 (UR-9, SC-3, ST-3, OBC-5)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years as on 1.1.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs.15600-39100+Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-
Education Qualification : Postgraduate Degree in Siddha system of medicine from a CCIM recognized Institution.
2.Research Officer(Siddha Pharmacy)
Total Posts : 01 (UR-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years as on 1.1.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs.15600-39100+Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-
Education Qualification : Postgraduate Degree in Siddha in Gunapadam from a CCIM recognized Institution.
3.Research Officer (Pharmacognosy)
Total Posts : 01 (UR-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years as on 1.1.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs.15600-39100+Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-
Education Qualification : M.Sc. in Botany/ Medicinal Plants or M.Pharm (Pharmacognosy) from a recognized university. Desirable: Ph.D in relevant subject
4.Lab Attendant
Total Posts : 24 (SC-3, ST-03, OBC-06, UR-12)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 25 years as on 1.1.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay GP.Rs.1900/-
Education Qualification : 12th (+2) class or equivalent with Science subjects from recognized Board/University.
Application Fee : Application fee charges are Rs.100/- for OBC/General candidates and Rs.20/- for SC/ST candidates in form of Demand draft, which has to be drawn in favour of Central Council for Research In Siddha, payable at Chennai.
How to Apply : Application forms can be downloaded from www.Siddharesearchcouncil.org.The application along with self-attested copies of educational qualifications,experience, age, community certificate etc should be enclosed along with the application and demand draft. Original certificates have to be produced at the time of written test/Interview. Self-attested copies of testimonials and certificates should be produced by the physically Handicapped candidates who are exempted from the application fee. The candidates should mention “Application for the post of ____________” in bold letters on the right side top of the envelope.The date, time and venue of the written test, interview will be communicated to the candidates, for which candidates are requested to enclose oneself-addressed envelope (11x5cm) affixing postal stamps worth Rs.25/- along with the duly filled in prescribed Application Form in a separate cover.The application for the above mentioned posts have to be submitted by 26-05-2014.
